Razor's Revenge Reviews

Paul Chandler has created an amazing paradox of a novel in which it becomes conflicting to dislike the antagonists as their punishments exceed their crimes; and where it becomes very troubling to root for a wronged man who has yet to learn that revenge cuts both ways and might not lead to justice.
En route to the final verdict in "Razor's Revenge," readers who cheer Razor at the beginning will have ample opportunity to question whether absolute and merciless truth in a courtroom represents the best of all possible worlds or represents a dark victory.

This book is exciting! Its full of rich and varied characters, amazing cutting edge technology and its grounded just enough to be believable! I didn't know what to think when the story started out with a brief albeit powerful setup, and then quickly fast forwarded to present time. But as I continued to read, I found myself really rooting for Phillip Beck and his crew on their campaign to bring Razor's dream to reality.
Its fast, fun and quite easy to read, which I enjoy in a novel. I consider myself to have an above average vocabulary but no one enjoys reading when half of that time is spent with your nose in a dictionary. While not being oversimplified in his approach, Chandler also doesn't drone on using unwieldy esoteric verbiage which I find very refreshing.
All in all, a great read and I highly recommend it!
Razor's Revenge is a fun and exciting book. It reads like a Dan Brown novel, in all the best ways. The chapters are mostly short and action packed. You are always
wanting to read just one more chapter to see how Razor's plan will
unfold.
Overall I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys thrillers.
What makes the novel so much fun to read is the speed at which things happen as well as how the characters are developed. The novel reads like a screenplay in terms of how easy it is to picture what is happening and how spot on the dialog is. I felt like I had already seen the movie after reading the book. The character development is so masterfully executed with respect to the fact that the title character is barely seen in the novel. The seeds of the character are planted throughout the novel and allowed to grow in the readers mind. When we finally meet the character again we have already formed this gargantuan image of him and it makes for an extremely exciting climax.
